Half-day of Bowl woodturning (beginner spindle turning is pre-requisite) with a focus on safe practices, lathe terminology, bowl-turning tools, sharpening, wood types, bowl design, and best practices in the woodturning shop.

About the event
Beginning (and refresher) woodturning bowls will introduce students to the basic tools and techniques for bowl-turning in one half-day focused lesson. Students are required to wear firm shoes. Safety equipment and materials provided. 1/2 day tuition is pro-rated by the number of students: 1/$110, 2/$70 each, 3/$60 each, 4-7/$55 each payable at the beginning of class via cash, check, or credit-card. This class repeats on a semi-regular basis and by individual arrangement. (1/2 day spindle turning is a pre-requisite.)
