Basic Spindle Woodturning (pre-requisite requirement for other woodturning lessons)
Basic Spindle Woodturning is a pre-requisite requirement for other woodturning lessons and will include an introduction to the woodturning lathe: Safety, Terminology, Tools, Sharpening, Process, Design, etc. and hands-on practice.

Beginning (and refresher) woodturning spindles will introduce students to the basic tools and techniques for spindle-turning in one half-day focused lesson. Students are required to wear firm shoes. Safety equipment and materials provided. 1/2 day tuition is pro-rated by the number of students: 1/$110, 2/$70 each, 3/$60 each, 4-7/$55 each payable at the beginning of class via cash, check, or credit-card. This class repeats on a semi-regular basis and by individual arrangement. (1/2 day spindle turning is a requirement for other classes in woodturning.)
